I remember wanting to be a doctor since I was at least 5 years old living in Elk Rapids, Michigan. My parents were both pharmacists. My grandfathers were a pharmacist and a family practice doctor. You could say medicine was just in my blood.

After high school, I joined the Navy as a hospital corpsman. My knowledge expanded when I became a certified EMT and sick call corpsman in Okinawa, Japan. After the Navy, I started undergraduate college at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, and then Michigan State University. Finally, I completed my educational training at Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine.

I opened my own office in October 2018 and have never felt more like a complete family physician. Every day brings me a joy and pride I can not explain. I honestly love what I do and feel completely blessed to be allowed to do a job that fills my soul like this does.
